Post 7: Changes to my study programme

 When I first read the topic, I immediately started to remember some things. I’ve been in the Faculty of Chemical and Pharmaceutical Sciences for almost 3 years and, although it may seem like a short time, there are some experiences that developed an opinion. For example, I would like the specific courses to be imparted during the whole career, not only in advances years because many people leave because they´re not taught what they’ll do in the future right away, which is an uncertainty until higher courses are reached. The common plan courses (i.e., courses shared with people of other careers) should also be less difficult to reduce dropout due to the demand and pressure they represent during the first years I’m quite ok with the years of duration, we all would like it to be less time in all careers, but also, I think about others that last 6-7 years and I stay calm because even if it takes me a while to finish my career, it won’t be as long as if the whole career were longer...

Post 6: Time travel to the future

 2045 As someone who is constantly thinking about how the future would be, any date sounds really scary to me, but I chose 2045 because I’ll be an independent adult at that time. Although I try to be optimistic most of the time, I’m aware that issues as the climate change, sustainability, political differences, job opportunities and many more prevent us from moving forward as a society and I get very anxious and scared when experts and scientists say that our planet won’t be functional in 10 or 20; that stop me from imagining myself as an adult in Chile. Hopefully when I finish my career, I´ll be able to leave Chile and finally live in Sweden, a country that, personally, I think that has better opportunities. I've learned and researched about Sweden and I’m convinced that it might be a place for me since it’s A LOT more advanced that Chile, it’s LGBTIQ+ friendly, there are job opportunities and good salaries, it’s one of the safest countries of Europe and they care about the en...

Post 5: My Future Job

Hello once again! welcome to a new post.   The topic of this blog is about my future job so I would like to tell you that I’m currently studying pharmaceutical chemistry and i’m constantly thinking about how my future job will be since the field of work is quite broad and i can dedicate to a lot of areas such as cosmetics, administration, pharmaceutical industry, forensics, among others. My interest areas are forensics , cosmetics and others since i’m just starting my career and i still have a lot to know.  Two years ago i was studying another career, so my work in the future would have been a very different one from the one i’m aiming at this moment, so i hope i have made the right decision. I wanted to follow my heart and study something that really interested me.  Thinking about my future job i think about my future job , I think about whether i would like to world from home or not, but to work outside would be the ideal for me. Post 4: Childhood series

  Hello again! Sorry for the delay and welcome once again to my blog! When I first read the topic of this post, I immediately knew of what I wanted to talk. My complete childhood is summed up to Disney series, but Hannah Montana was iconic, at least for me. I remembered that when I was 9 years old, I went to the municipal theatre and watched Hannah Montana: The Movie. That was incredibly amazing for me because I used to live in Coyhaique, a really small city where it was rare and almost impossible for a movie to premiere on the release date. Beyond the TV show, I searched about Miley Cyrus, her music, career and up to date I still being a fan of her. I think that it such an achievement that she became famous just appearing in a show that it is so remarkable in my life. Post 3: My Pets

  Hello once again! Welcome to my third post. This is such an interesting topic to talk about, at least for me. I used to be that kind of person that did not like animals and pets, I thought that they were annoying and a really complicated responsibility until Elio, Wakanda, Chiquito and Cleo appeared in my life. The first that almost 3 years ago was Elio. My partner had always wanted to have a hedgehog and I thought they were cute too, so we bought him when he was 2 months old. I now know that it is kind of a bad thing to buy animals, but in 2019 we did not know that, so we bought Elio from a man who had a hedgehog breeder. I like to think that anyways we rescued him since it was in poorly conditions.  Elio is a little moody and shy, he likes to be carried and caressed, but not on his face, tummy or ears. He spends most of the time in my partner’s house because he lives there, so he is a little needy with her, but I visit him frequently and I try to take him out of his cage...

Post 2: The Best Holidays/Concert Ever

Hello again! Welcome to my second post. To be honest, these topics were a little hard to think of since I have never been on a concert or a really long trip, but I decided to talk about a trip that I really enjoyed, although it was just a weekend. Last year on February my partner and I were really exhausted and stressed because of our routines and the scorching heat of Santiago’s summer, so we decided to plan a weekend trip to the beach to Viña del Mar/Valparaíso.  First, we thought about paying for a place to stay, food and buy the bus tickets, but we realized that it was out of our budget, so I contacted my auntie Marcela because she lives in Valparaíso and is the nearest relative that I have since all my family lives on the south. She was really nice and immediately accepted to receive us, so we packed our things and enjoyed the weekend walking around the beach and the beautiful hills and views of Valparaíso. Hi, this is my first blog entry, and I would like to share with you one of my dreams Traveling is one of the things that I like to do the most and, although I haven’t visited many places, a country that comes to my mind is Japan. Its beautiful landscapes, world-renowned gastronomy, technological advances and entertainment are the reasons why I love this country.
